GENERAL

“Morven” is approximately 23 miles travelling distance from Lerwick and just over 5 minutes drive from Sumburgh Airport Terminal and Sumburgh Hotel.  There is a regular bus service at the junction to the main A970 road.  

Local amenities within a mile of the property include a general merchants with post office and a boating club with marina for small boats.

Dunrossness Primary School is situated approximately 3 miles away, older pupils go to Sandwick Junior High School.  School transport to both schools is provided by Shetland Islands Council.  Mainland’s retail site which includes a mini-supermarket with post office, an off-licence, petrol pumps and hairdresser is also situated in Dunrossness.  The south mainland doctor’s surgery is at Levenwick. 

Built in 1988, this concrete blockwork house has concrete roof tiles, timber doors and triple glazed, timber framed windows except in the basement workshop which is double glazed.  Gas fired central heating also provides the hot water.
